When submitting your online application, a letter of support from a 'responsible person' MUST be uploaded with your application. Failure to submit this letter will DISQUALIFY your application. The required letter of support should contain information about your financial hardship, any family distruption and/or circumstances which could prevent you from undertaking further study. Note for school leavers only: You may use the letter submitted with your VTAC SEAS application as follows:
- Category 1: Financial hardship
- Category 2: Living with a disability or medical condition, or
- Category 3: Difficult family and life circumstances
A 'responsible person' for the letter of support could be more broadly defined as a school principal, year level coordinator, house leader, employer, community or faith leader, or person who knows your circumstances. This is not an exhaustive list.

If you are successful with this application, would you like to receive a free refurbished laptop to assist with your studies? Laptops are provided via the Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project's'Laptops For Love' program. The laptops are around 4 years old, cleansed and ready to use (internet, email ability). They do not come with the MS Office environment however as a student, education options are available either free or at a student rate.
